Alfredo Rapetti MOGOL
He was born in Milan in 1961. He begin with the use of a special technique called “stitching” where the action of painting melts with the act of writing and words begin to be marked not only on the sheet but also on the canvas. He started being exposed among other artists in the Permanent Museum of Milan in 2002 and the Salon d’Automne Paris, Espace Cheranton in 2004, in Moscow Mar’s Contemporary Art Museum and the Gran Palais in Paris in 2006. At the same time, Rapetti exclusive exhibits took place in and outside Italy (at the Cà d’Oro Gallery in Rome, at the KPMG Foundation in Berlin and at the Art Maretti in Montecarlo to mention a few). In 2009 he exhibited 80 works at the Palazzo della Ragione in Mantova and in 2010,with the De Chirico Foundation he exposed in the USA at NYU and the Museum of the Sculpture of Santa Monica.
L.A. Professor at Universities of the image in New York and Milan. 2007 marked his new beginning with the 52nd Venice Biennale where he returned in 2011 at the Italian Pavilion in the 54th edition.
