Alice PAZZI
Born in Florence, obtains degrees at the “Michelangelo” high school and the Academy of Graphics & Arts “. Friendship with some famous artists (i.e.: Mimmo Rotella and Enrico Bai) contributed to enhance her knowledge and skills in her future artworks like a new concept, based on recycled materials.
She has the extraordinary ability of dreaming and observing the metamorphosis of the contamination of things, creating as a detachment from the conventional language that has a surrealistic echo founded on a combination of images and words.
Different references from the American New Dada to the “combine painting” by Rauschenberg, making art with any material gives us the idea of the eclectic liberation of her big love for life and beauty. Kant once said “The artistic beauty is not the representation of a beautiful thing, but the representation of a thing”. And If we point out Duchamp as well when he was talking about “hunger of understanding”..
