Erika TROJER
Born in San Candido, South Tyrol, Italy. She moved to Milan where she began modeling and had the chance to travel all over the world. In 1997 she moved to Cernobbio on the lake of Como where she currently resides with her family. It is here that she became aware of her passion for art. She creates unique pieces in her own workshop. For her managing to reactivate something doomed as refuse and imbue it a new with worth usefulness and beauty is a reason for constant research and a stimulus to meditate. Her concern with recycling is basically a form of profound respect for things created , it means that each slice of our history is significant that we are persons and such unique and one-off. Her works has been exhibited in both group and solo exhibitions and has earned numerous recognitions.
